12 & 24V portable tester for diagnostics of alternator's voltage regulators
TSH-030 is a simple and user-friendly device for express diagnostics of 12 and 24V automobile alternators with a controlled or digital voltage regulator directly on the vehicle. The tester will be useful both for small car repair shops and large service stations to identify common alternator malfunctions such as voltage regulator failure.
The TSH-030 tester is used for diagnosing 12 V and 24 V automotive alternators with controlled or digital voltage regulators directly on the vehicle. The tester allows determining the technical condition of the alternator and the need for its subsequent removal from the vehicle for repair or replacement. During the alternator diagnostics, the tester allows to assess:
- the compliance of the alternator's output voltage with its specified value;
- the alternator's ability to regulate the output voltage and the accuracy of such regulation;
- the functionality of the feedback channel (FR, DFM, M, LI) of the voltage regulator;
- data on the COM-type voltage regulator, which can help in selecting a replacement in case of malfunction.
